GoAeroMx, LLC, a provider of integrated avionics solutions, announced today that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for installation of Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B) OUT for the Airbus A300 and A310 family of aircraft. The STC (ST04309CH) is now approved and suitable for use on Airbus aircraft. This ADS-B solution pairs FreeFlight Solutions (FFS) Model 1203C Spaced Based Augmentation System (SBAS) Global Positioning System (GPS) Receivers with ACSS transponders meeting the 2020 FAA mandate for ADS-B OUT in the United States (US). In addition, the STC also incorporates FFS RANGR RX ADS-B IN Universal Access Transceiver (UAT) and WiFi module to allow flight crews operating in the contiguous US to benefit from enhanced Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) applications, including own ship GPS Position and Flight Information Services – Broadcast (FIS-B).
